Outstanding Finance Startups Recognized at the Fintech Germany Award 2024

For the ninth consecutive year, Germany’s mostinnovative financial startups were celebrated at the Fintech Germany Award(FTGA). On Monday evening, the prestigious awards returned to Frankfurt amMain— where it all started —after three years, having previously been hostedtwice in Berlin and once in Stuttgart.
Set beneath the striking archways of theKunstverein Familie Montez, located across from the European Central Bankheadquarters, this year’s ceremony honored a diverse range of outstandingfintechs. The Frankfurt-based startup Fincite took home the top prize in theEarly Stage category, while NAO, headquartered in Berlin, secured first placein the Seed Stage category.
A Night of Celebrating Fintech Excellence
Two companies proved their excellence asrepeat winners. Raisin, the Berlin-based fintech unicorn, secured theLate/Growth Stage award, marking yet another victory after winning in 2017 and2020. Meanwhile, Frankfurt’s Cashlink claimed the Special Award for DigitalAssets, adding to its past wins in 2020 and 2021.
The Most Promising International Startup awardwent to Austria’s Bitpanda, reinforcing its position as a key player in theglobal crypto space. The Special Award for Artificial Intelligence was handedto Unique, a Swiss company specializing in ChatGPT-powered solutions for thefinancial industry, reflecting the growing impact of AI in fintech.
Surprise Awards & Exclusive Opportunities
Beyond the official categories, selectstartups were also rewarded with exclusive opportunities, including invitationsto premier industry events. Some recipients received tickets to High-TechGründerfonds (HTGF) Family Day 2025 in Berlin, Germany’s largest venturecapital event, while others were awarded entry to NVIDIA’s GTC DeveloperConference in San Jose, California, a global stage for AI and technologicalinnovation.
With over 100 applications, the 25 membersstrong FTGA Jury carefully shortlisted 38 startups before selecting this year’sstandout winners—each playing a vital role in shaping the future of fintech.
