Kick off for the seventh edition of the Fintech Germany Award!
Traditionally, every #FTGA begins with the application phase, in which young companies from all funding phases and all fintech or insurtech sectors can apply nationally and internationally for the Fintech Germany Award. The jury members also have the opportunity to nominate companies they consider attractive for the award.
These go through the jury's evaluation process just like the applicants. Only they "save" themselves the application process. Many of the nominees are nevertheless happy to answer the more than 20 questions because this provides the jury with up-to-date first-hand information. In addition, a logo can be uploaded, which will later be published on the FTGA website as part of the publication of the longlist. From the longlist, the jury will filter out the shortlist based on a scoring system, which is expected to be published in the second half of November.
From the start-ups on the shortlist, the winners will be selected in a final jury meeting and announced and crowned at the awards ceremony in early December.
For the funding categories Seed Stage, Early Stage, Late Stage, Growth Stage, as well as the category Most Promising International Startup in Germany, the winners as well as the runners-up will be awarded on stage on the award evening. In addition, there will be special prizes for Insurtech and Sustainable Finance in 2022, each of which will have a winner. The award is supported by a group of well-known sponsors, some of whom have been supporters for many years: Aareal Bank, Allianz X, Bankhaus Metzler, Berlin Finance Initiative, Berlin Partner, BlackFin Tech, FRED Executive Search, Linklaters, Studio Polylog and TQ Techquartier.
The #FTGA2022 is organised by Techfluence UK.
