The #FTGA is going into its sixth round. On July 8th, 2021, the leading award for fintech companies in Germany will take place in Stuttgart for the first time.

As last year, the jury – consisting of more than 20 well-known representatives of the German fintech community – honours firms in eight categories: In the four categories along the funding phases (seed, early, late and growth stage) as well as in the category for foreign startups, the winners as well as second and third places will be awarded on stage. This year there will be special awards in the fields: Insurtech, Investment Technology (Investtech) as well as Sustainable Finance, for participants that have performed particularly well under ESG aspects.

The application phase is open until April 30, 2021 at 23:59 CEST. All applicants who have answered the questions by then, have properly completed the application, are “in scope” of FTGA (i.e. those who can be classified as financial technology companies in a broad sense) will be included in the longlist and will be displayed with their respective company logo and link on www.fintechgermanyaward.com.

The earlier the finalized application is received in our system mentioned above, the earlier the logo will appear on the website and on our social media channels **. In addition, companies applying early have the opportunity to receive a personal invitation to pitch at the open jury meeting on May 10, 2021* in Frankfurt.

The application/participation is free of charge for all participants.During the final jury session, the jury will jointly determine both the winners of the respective categories and the winners of the second and third places, which will be announced on July 8 at the award ceremony in Stuttgart.
